The shot: Selkirk skyline
Snapped near the treeline on Bruins Ridge in the Selkirks, beautiful British Columbia. Balu Pass is just under the cloud, roughly center frame
This section was supposed to sit semi-opaque against the cloud in the the shot, then go opaque when your mouse hit it. The section wouldn’t need the white background (like with the links section above) since the clouds are so white.
But why mess with the shot?
It’s a nice shot. So the yap’s down here, out of the way. 😁
Notes
- No links! (except for this page and reference/resource links on the trip pages). Your browser controls (back arrow, swipe) should bring you back here from the trip pages
- This site looks good on your phone, better on a large screen, best on a big fat 4k (or better) display
- Phone display (two points)
- Text may reference "the above shot" or "the shot to the left" in a way that makes no sense if you're viewing a smaller mobile display. The "make sense" priority goes to monitor display, where the pages were designed and the accompanying photography looks much better. Which is really what this site is all about
- Some text references image content that was cropped out to display better on your mobile
- It's just HTML, CSS and images. That's it! (no scripts, no ads, no cookies…)
- I've been doing the mountain thing for some time now, though this site is new. I plan to upload an old trip while keeping up with current ones
See how it goes...
